The Nature Conservation Council of NSW (NCC) is looking for a dedicated, hard-working and passionate intern to assist with a range of online fundraising, marketing & graphic design solutions. This is an ideal opportunity for a Marketing, Graphic Design or Communications student with an interest in professional online communications to gain experience in a fast-paced environmental campaigning organisation.
Commitment: One or two days a week
Location: Level 2, 5 Wilson St, Newtown, NSW, 2042
Duration: Three months
Reporting to: Fundraising Officer
Position objective: The successful applicant will gain exposure to the operation of a not-for-profit organisation’s website, online communications, fundraising and design requirements through supervised practice.
Key tasks:
- Write and/or construct online emailouts, online actions and e-appeals and similar materials across various campaigns and programs
- Update website articles
- Create email headers
- Assist with direct mail and mailouts
Skills and knowledge required:
- Marketing, Graphic Design and/or Fundraising Comms skills and knowledge
- Familiarity with Indesign, Photoshop
- Ability and willingness to think about, create, design, and implement integrated online communications as a part of a team

Good communication skills – able to produce accurate and high quality work
Ability to work quickly under pressure - Strong problem solving skills
