Transport and environment commitments have featured prominently among the key issues the new NSW government plans will address in its 100 Day Action Plan.
In the first 100 days the O'Farrell government has pledged to:

Scrap Part 3A of planning laws and establish a Planning Review Panel to draft a new Planning Act. Find out more.

Start an economic assessment of mining-affected communities.
- Establish a Special Commission of Inquiry into the former Government's electricity sell-off.

Start the process of establishing Dharawal National Park.

Hold a Solar Summit with participation by industry reprentatives, energy experts and environmental groups.

Appoint a Parliamentary Secretary for Renewable Energy.

Commence the establishment of an iIntergrated Transport Authority.
- Reduce monthly, quarterly and annual train fares for regular commuters by July 1.
