In March 2012, NSW Parliament passed legislation to overturn a 26 year ban on uranium exploration in our state. The legislation was rushed into parliament after a shock announcement that cabinet had decided to lift the ban.

Removing the ban on uranium exploration is the first step towards the establishment of a uranium mining industry in our state. The NSW Government has no mandate to open the door to this dirty, dangerous industry.

Take action today: add your name to the growing number of people who are lending their support to the NSW Uranium Free Charter.

Your personalised message will be sent to Premier O'Farrell, and we will keep you posted on how you can contribute to the campaign against this dirty, dangerous industry.

The NSW Uranium Free Charter is supported by a broad alliance of environmental, union and health organisations.
