Take a stand to protect the unique Gardens of Stone

Join us at an action for the Gardens of Stone tomorrow. The scenic and biodiverse Gardens of Stone is at risk from the destructive impacts of open cut coal mining.

At 12:30pm on Saturday 14 May, the Blue Mountains Conservation Society will hold a simple, 30 minute campaign action to help protect this precious piece of public land from destruction.

Supporters will be asked to join the Society on the mining proposal site, Ben Bullen State Forest, to hold a banner for a photo opportunity and later explore the stunning pagodas and forests with people who know the area. Transport to and from the Lithgow train station will be provided.
