The B&DCA was formed after public meetings, organised by the Association for Berowra Creek, were held in June 2005 to address a range of issues that the community felt were not being properly addressed by local government.
OUR AIMS ARE TO: - Empower local residents to become a vital part of the democratic process by providing a voice for appropriate and sustainable development, while promoting the district for residents and business;
- Help the councillors to understand Community needs and aspirations by providing a channel of communication between Council, residents and other interested parties;
- Represent Community issues; and
- Make the Council accountable

What our members say |
 We really appreciate your ongoing interest and support...
...you are such a key part of the environmental movement, we can’t do without you. |
 Thought you guys were great in Braidwood. So glad there are capable dedicated people out there working for change. |
 Thank you both for this excellent joint letter with Queensland Conservation Council to Environment Ministers.
This is a case of NCC being a huge help to member groups.

 I was moved by the long-term dedication of some of the award winners, and very impressed by the harmony of feeling at the event. (I have served at many, many events over my life, and never felt such quiet unity).
