Bellingen Environment Centre Inc.

Bellingen Environment Centre (BEC), located in the heart of Bellingen town on the NSW North Coast, is very much the focus for environmentally and socially active community groups operating in the local shire. As well as being the home for many of the activities of the various community groups, the BEC has also been responsible for a great many environmental success stories in the area.

BEC is represented on the BSC's Coast and Estuary Management Committee, the Solitary Islands Marine Park Advisory Committee and NSW Estuary Fishing Advisory Committee.

What our members say

We really appreciate your ongoing interest and support...

...you are such a key part of the environmental movement, we can’t do without you.

Thought you guys were great in Braidwood.

So glad there are capable dedicated people out there working for change.

Thank you both for this excellent joint letter with Queensland Conservation Council to Environment Ministers.

This is a case of NCC being a huge help to member groups.

I was moved by the long-term dedication of some of the award winners, and very impressed by the harmony of feeling at the event.

(I have served at many, many events over my life, and never felt such quiet unity).
