What we do:

Community Environment Network Logo The Community Environment Network (CEN) is an independent community group that works for Ecologically Sustainable Development (ESD) and against threats to it.

The Network provides advice, resources, information and support to individuals and community groups to improve their environment in the Gosford, Wyong & Lake Macquarie areas.

Meetings are held at 7:00pm on the fourth Thursday of the month in the Common Room, Science & Technology Building, Ourimbah Campus, University of Newcastle.

We publish "CEN News" (4 issues per year) and "The Creeky Voice" (quarterly).

What our members say

We really appreciate your ongoing interest and support...

...you are such a key part of the environmental movement, we can’t do without you.

Thought you guys were great in Braidwood.

So glad there are capable dedicated people out there working for change.

Thank you both for this excellent joint letter with Queensland Conservation Council to Environment Ministers.

This is a case of NCC being a huge help to member groups.

I was moved by the long-term dedication of some of the award winners, and very impressed by the harmony of feeling at the event.

(I have served at many, many events over my life, and never felt such quiet unity).
