Renewal After Fire Workshop
In February 2011, the Nature Conservation Council of NSW and the Conservation Council of the ACT region held a 2 day workshop focusing on the recovery of the natural environment following the Canberra bushfires in 2003. There were presentations from the CSIRO, ACT National Parks Association, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, ACT Parks and the National Botanic Gardens.

Bushfire in the Landscape: Different Values, a Shared Vision
The Bushfire Program's Eighth Biennial Bushfire Conference (2011) was a great success. A total of 240 delegates attended, representing 43 groups from seven states and territories. Twenty eight high calibre presenters addressed biodiversity, Indigenous, agricultural and risk values.
